New intrinsically radiopaque hydrophilic microspheres for embolization

All current embolization materials in interventional radiology are solely visible within one imaging modality (radiopaque as within cited article). Embolization materials being visible in more than one imaging modality may allow the combination of various modalities for therapy control.
